Survivor Week 5 Friday Check: No Switch Today, One Tripwire Armed, and the Market Moves a Full Point Against the Bullet's Game

Friday injury-report check on the three live tickets: no switch, but Cleveland–New York moved Jets −1.5 to −2.5 on defensive injury news and now sits one tick from the Bullet's pre-committed tripwire. Detroit and New England check clean — Kyler Murray's new ankle is the foundation under the Lions' number, and Las Vegas's Wednesday report is longer than New England's. Tripwires, ladders, and the Saturday 6:00 PM MT checks, all pre-committed.

The Friday check, per the plan laid Thursday night. Everything below is off verified practice reports and the live market as of Friday morning. The verdict up top: no switch on any of the three tickets today. One tripwire is armed and one point from firing. The rest is housekeeping. The desk grades what the owner entered — Cleveland on the Bullet, Detroit on the Second Chance ticket, New England on the ESPN entry — and tonight's piece says whether the weekend changes any of it.

The line board, Thursday to Friday

DraftKings via ESPN's board: Houston held −7.5. Detroit held −5.5. New England held −3.5. Two games moved. Jets–Browns moved a full point, −1.5 to −2.5 (ESPN). And Falcons–Ravens eased from Atlanta −3.5 to −3, the first market whisper that Lamar Jackson's ankle might bend toward playing. One move matters to a desk ticket; the other matters to Thanksgiving. Both get their paragraphs.

Cleveland at the Jets — the Bullet's game, and the armed wire

The move has a name: defensive injuries. Cleveland's Friday-shape report: tackle Mason Graham out multiple weeks, linebacker Carson Schwesinger active on a high ankle, receiver Tylan Wallace out, and everyone else practicing — Deshaun Watson in full all week (Dawgs By Nature) (FantasyPros). Watson fine, the defense in front of him thinning — that is what a point of market movement against a 3-1 team looks like. And the records deserve the honesty both ways: Cleveland's three-game run came against Tampa Bay, Carolina, and a short-week Pittsburgh, while the Jets' 1-3 walked through an early NFC North gauntlet (theScore) (SI). The market thinks both records are lying a little, in opposite directions, and the rain forecast at MetLife — 68 degrees, tropical-storm rain, wind — tilts a low-total game toward the home favorite (Reddit pool preview). Cleveland's win probability ticks down to roughly 44.9% at the new price. It was 45.7% when the pick was made and published. Neither number is a comfort; both are the truth.

Tripwire, pre-committed and now armed: if the line reaches Jets −3.0, or Watson is downgraded in any way, by Saturday 6:00 PM MT, the Bullet re-runs. Ladder as it stands: Houston (77.7%, unburned everywhere on this card), then Cincinnati (72.2%, same), then New England (63.7%, doubling the ESPN ticket across pools, disclosed). Any change publishes before Sunday.

Detroit at Arizona — the Second Chance game, clean

The number's foundation is the other team's quarterback. Kyler Murray is playing on a new ankle, and Arizona's passing attack has been, in the local paper's words, literally just checkdowns — which is why Detroit is a 5.5-point road favorite with a defense ranked 31st in points and 32nd in yards (Yahoo). Detroit's side of the report brings good news for once: Aidan Hutchinson gets a dream matchup with Cardinals guard Isaiah Adams likely out (Yahoo). The line holding −5.5 through Friday with that news on both sides is the market saying nothing changed that it cares about. Tripwire: Detroit through −4.5, or Hutchinson news, by Saturday 6:00 PM MT → ladder Houston, then Cincinnati.

New England vs Las Vegas — the ESPN game, clean

The Patriots' cornerback room remains the story — Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis have now missed five straight practices, and Gonzalez sat last week in Buffalo too, so the −3.5 already wears that absence (Pats Pulpit). Las Vegas's Wednesday report was longer: tackle Brown, receiver Williams, and defensive end Key all sat (Raiders). The 3-1 Raiders remain a schedule-built record — two wins over 0-4 teams and a third over a 1-3 — and the market kept the number anyway. Tripwire: New England below −2.5 on verified news, or a Drake Maye downgrade, by Saturday 6:00 PM MT → ladder Houston, then Cincinnati.

The record-only items

Houston held −7.5 with Nico Collins practicing in full — the engine's 1.38x answer, on no desk ticket by owner direction, priced here once a week and not relitigated. Cincinnati's Ja'Marr Chase is on track to miss with the concussion, Tee Higgins's adductor unresolved — no desk ticket within a mile of that game either (CBS). And the save-watch: Lamar did not practice Wednesday, but Atlanta easing to −3 is the market pricing a real chance he suits up Sunday night. The desk's Thanksgiving save is Baltimore at Houston in Week 12; a playing Lamar keeps it alive, a limited Lamar discounts it, and the re-pricing continues weekly in public either way (Sportsnet).

Housekeeping on verification, because this page has now burned the desk three times: the public pool grid rolled overnight and is displaying a history column again — Thursday's evening pull, with the verified season history attached, remains the standing record, and the entry page is the source of truth before Sunday. The pool counter still says 132 alive; it is reading Thursday morning. Eighty-two filed Dallas tickets say otherwise, and the real number resolves when the site does.

Three tickets, no changes, one wire armed. Saturday 6:00 PM MT, and anything that moves moves in public first.
